Radio talk show host Cheryl Fusco Johnson interviews authors, artists, and other creative professionals on “The Studio” on KRUU-LP 100.1 FM. For 25 years she taught creative writing at the University of Iowa’s Iowa Summer Writing Festival. “For nurturing many writers who have gone on to success in children’s literature,” Cheryl received an Outstanding Service Award from Iowa’s Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Her students have won fiction contests, writing grants, and contracts from major book publishers. Cheryl’s writing has appeared in The Atlantic, Writer’s Handbook, The Writer, Cricket, Highlights for Children, and many other publications.
